Place details

Country:

Churchtown House is an 18th-century Georgian mansion located in the village of Beaufort, near Killarney in County Kerry. Built in 1740 by Sir Roland Blennerhassett and owned by the Magill family since 1860, the estate sits directly at the foot of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks mountain range.

Historically one of the region's largest dairy farms, the estate was partially redeveloped in the 1990s to create the adjacent Beaufort Golf Club. Today, the fully restored three-story house operates as an exclusive luxury rental, featuring six en-suite bedrooms, traditional reception rooms, and scenic views of Carrauntoohil and the surrounding countryside.
