The grave of Elise Sandes, founder of the Sandes Homes for Soldiers on army bases throughout Ireland & India. Buried at Tyrella Church of Ireland.
Elisie Sandes came North to the Ballykinlar home in 1922 after the formation of the 'Free State' as most of the southern Sandes Homes were then closed along with the army bases.
